The duration and the quota
The repayment duration of a credit is from 3 to 25 years.
The quota is the relationship between the borrowed capital and the market value (generally the appraised value) of the property used as collateral. So, if you want to borrow € 100,000 for a property with a market value of € 125,000, the quota will be 80%. This quota has a direct influence on the cost of your credit. The lower the quota, the lower the rate, and vice versa.
